When Vivid Agency launched in 2024, the goal wasn't complicated: help businesses in the Greater Toronto Area grow their revenue, and do it properly. No fluff. No vanity metrics. Just real growth systems that move the needle.

Less than two years in, the agency has crossed $247,000 in combined client portfolio value - the cumulative business value of the companies we've worked alongside. For a firm founded by teenagers with no outside capital, no investors, and no institutional backing, that number means something.

What We Actually Do

Vivid Agency is a consulting and paid advertising firm. We work with small-to-mid-sized businesses across the GTA, primarily in services, retail, and local commerce. Our work spans strategic consulting - diagnosing what's broken and building a plan - and hands-on execution through paid media on Meta and Google.

What separates us isn't the ad spend. It's the system behind it. We build the infrastructure - the funnels, the follow-up sequences, the reporting dashboards - that turns ad spend into compounding revenue.

Vivid Group's second portfolio company is officially live. Keyflow is a typing automation platform that gives users the ability to define shortcuts, text expansions, and macros that eliminate repetitive typing - across every app, every platform, every device.

The idea is simple. The average professional types the same phrases, responses, templates, and data hundreds of times per week. Keyflow kills that problem. Once you define a shortcut, it expands automatically - every time, everywhere.

Why We Built It

Vivid Agency runs on systems. We've always been obsessed with removing friction from repetitive processes. Keyflow was born out of our own internal workflow - and when we realized the problem was universal, we decided to build a proper product around it.

Unlike our agency, which scales with clients, Keyflow scales with users. One product, infinite leverage. That's the thesis that drives our push into product-led technology.

Why We Stopped Giving Advice and Started Building: The Vivid Group Origin Story

Vivid started as a consulting firm. We were good at it - diagnosing what was wrong with businesses, writing the strategy, handing it over. But somewhere along the way, something started to bother us. We were building other people's businesses. And doing it well. So why weren't we building our own?

The Shift

The pivot wasn't dramatic. It was logical. If we understood growth systems well enough to install them in other businesses, we understood them well enough to build our own. So we stopped optimizing other people's operations and started owning the outcomes.

Vivid Agency became the first company. Not just a service business - a cash-flowing operation that would fund everything that came after. A real company, run by real operators, generating real revenue without a single dollar from outside investors.

Why Toronto

Toronto has one of the highest concentrations of small businesses in North America. And an enormous number of them are underserved - running on outdated systems, no digital presence, and no growth strategy. That's the gap we're building into.

Vivid Group is Officially Registered. Here's What That Means Going Forward

Vivid Group is now officially registered as a legal entity. This is a milestone - not because it changes what we're doing day-to-day, but because it formalizes the structure we've been building toward since we started.

A holding company structure gives us something services businesses don't have: a framework for acquiring and compounding. Each portfolio company operates independently but draws on shared infrastructure - financial systems, legal structure, brand, and operator talent.

What Registration Means Practically

Going forward, all portfolio companies operate under the Vivid Group umbrella. Contracts, partnerships, and acquisitions flow through the holding entity. It also means we can raise, structure deals, and take on investors - if and when we choose to.

Right now, Vivid Group is self-funded and intentionally so. We believe in proving the model before scaling it. Registration is step one of that proof.

The GTA is Underserved. How We're Identifying the Best Small Business Acquisition Targets

Toronto is home to hundreds of thousands of small businesses. A significant portion of them are profitable, have loyal customer bases, and have been operating for years - but they have no succession plan, no digital presence, and no growth infrastructure. That's an acquisition opportunity hiding in plain sight.

What We Look For

Our acquisition criteria is straightforward. We look for businesses that are cash-flowing but not scaling - meaning the fundamentals are there, but the operator doesn't have the systems or the team to grow beyond their current ceiling. We bring both.

The GTA small business market is massive. We're just beginning to identify the best opportunities within it - and we're building the infrastructure to move fast when we find them.

Four Founders Under 20: How Vivid Group Was Built Without Outside Capital

There's a version of this story that involves a pitch deck, a seed round, and a VC firm in Menlo Park. That's not this story. Vivid Group was built by four founders - all under 20 - who decided that the fastest way to build something real was to just start building.

No outside capital. No institutional backing. Just a shared conviction that the holding company model - build, acquire, operate, scale - was the most intelligent long-term path. And the belief that you don't need to be 40 to run a real business.

We've had conversations. We've fielded interest. And we've said no - deliberately. Outside capital changes the incentives. It introduces timelines and return expectations that can conflict with building something durable. We wanted to prove the model first. Raise money to scale what's already working - not to find out if it works.
